The Transcaucasian Trail is a multi-year project to build a long trail through Georgia and Armenia along the Greater Caucasus range. About 1,200 km are currently hikeable, with new sections opening each year. The trail passes ancient monasteries, Caucasian villages, and remote alpine terrain.
