The Pinhoti Trail runs from Flagg Mountain, AL (the southernmost peak in the Appalachians with a fire tower) to the Cohutta Wilderness in GA, where it connects to the Benton MacKaye and eventually the AT. The trail winds through overlooked Appalachian ranges with excellent fall foliage.
