The Timberline Trail circles Mount Hood in Oregon, passing through alpine meadows, glacial streams, and old-growth forest. Normally completed in 3-4 days, it crosses several rivers that can be dangerous during peak snowmelt in June and July. Wait until late July for stable conditions.
